War Poetry

WARS" by sbs

No one wins in wars
Please stop it, we don't want more
It has no benefits, it makes no one soar
The question is what does it for?
No more killing, no more pain
'Cause losing is what we gain
What happened to us, are we insane
Or does it kind of entertain
Is it good to steal life from others
Is it fine to break the hearts of mothers
Is it shame if we gather
It it hard if we don't bother
Why our hearts are so black
Is it true, or it's just a hack
People are buried as if they are a snack
Others are killed and left on the track

From cradle to the grave" by sbs

Not far from her heart, she held her baby in his cradle
When the war broke out along her quit land
They broke in her house taking her baby from her cuddle
And the lady did nothing except watching him taking from her hand

Now that her mind still resounding the crying of her son
She thought she's sleeping and having a bad nightmare
But soon the truth wake her and tell her that he's gone
While she lied on the floor tearing and hardly breathing the air

Under the open sky, she sat barely all alone
Thinking if she could ever see him again
As she held her angry soul behind her bones
The thinking is killing her and driving her insane

Now that the sun shown brightly ending the war
And vanishing the sand from the blood of those braves
She found her baby lying on the sill of her door
And she was proud to hold him twice, from cradle to the grave

Sand Castle" by sbs

On the shore, that boy was sitting
Making his own sand castle
He kept soaring with his hands
Feeling the power in his muscles

The sun rays played in his eyes
The waves tried to destroy his art
Clouds filled up the blue sky
The view terrified his innocent heart

He wished his voice was louder
To set free the peaceful light
He wanted to become older
To carry a weapon and fight

His tears shattered on his face
When the castle was set to the ground
He wished he'll be able to face
Winds, waves and the clouds

How silly that a child in his age
Ware a life jacket made of fear blood & fire
His freedom surrounded by a golden cage
But he shouted this land is mine

He watched his dead dreams soar
Not knowing what to seek for
One thing obviously is sure
That children won't be children anymore

The groom who'll never come back" by sbs

As any two couples like being together
Love was sly and didn't leave them alone
They spent nights loving each other
And talking for hours on the phone

It's clear that he asked her for marrige
She accept and they got marry soon
They prepared things and packed their luggages
To travel and have a nice honeymoon

But the war started, disapointing their dreams
He told her he loved her and won't leave her
But the situation was bad than it seems
His heart was chosen by a bullet infront of her

In her hands he fall smiling at his bride
His heart beat lively, soaring with love
And the space between them become wide
He flew up, saying goodbye from above

She still believe that he'll come again
Bosh, can you give her back her groom
Are'nt you the responsible of this insane
Destroying and spreading around the gloom

You didn't like the world to sattle
Abvouisly you made a big deal
You started a foolish battle
Pretending that all the worries will heal

You took the road to baghdad
Hiding the trueth in your mind
Making the situation so bad
And asking the people to be kind

That groom wasn't the only one
Who paid his happness for oil
For a drop many souls are gone
But their blood colored the innocent soiles
